Number of global billionaires has doubled since the financial crisis

The number of billionaires in the world has doubled since the financial crisis in 2009. The rich people have becoming much richer and no one controls inequality. Why does the gap between rich and poor spread? I don’t know why, and I think nobody can answer this question. Since 2009, one million women has died because they can’t care about their health. They have to take care of their kids and do domestic work well. Also, 57 million children have trouble with their basic education. This is because the parents don’t afford to send their children to the school. If children can’t have the basic education, it will be serious problem because they will read write, and speak nothing. In Africa, 358 million people live in extreme poverty while there are about 16 billionaires. Inequality is a one of the great problem in the world. Hundreds of millions people can’t get clean drinking water, enough food and money. It is not strange if this problem happen to us someday. We need to know about the truth and what happens in the world. The consequence of inequality is very harmful for our life because it makes our life so bad situation and we will not able to live better life. However now we are not in trouble with something like a lack of water, money, and food. Therefore we don’t know how much it is serious. I think if we think of this problem more seriously, the government will change.

Being enthusiastic person makes our life delightful. I think the people who have a dream are more enthusiastic than other people because they need hard work to achieve their goals. So once they find their goals, they will become more enthusiastic. Besides, delight, happiness, and success come to us when we feel good or have positive thinking. Basically, I am enthusiastic person. This is because I’m interested in various things and I like to know new things. Knowing new things makes me exciting and more intelligent! Sometimes, I’m depressed when my score on test is really bad, but whenever something like that happens to me, I always think of this phrase, “ failure is a stepping-stone to success “. Everyone makes a mistake. Therefore, we don’t need to be upset deeply when we make a mistake and fail something. We can learn something new from that. In my case, a fail makes me more enthusiastic. It’s ok not to repeat a same mistake. In summary, I think the difference between enthusiastic people and the others is having a dream, having positive thinking and not to be afraid of making a mistake. So if you do that, you will be able to an enthusiastic person!

" Today you... tomorrow me "

Three years ago, a hitch hiker was in trouble. He was driving his friend's car, but then it broke suddenly. He was stuck in the side of a road. His car's tire was popped. He needed help, but no American ever helped him. Do you know who helped him? It was an immigrant from Mexico. He couldn't speak English at all, but his daughter could. Even though they were poor and had no money, they helped to fix his car. He tried to give money to the immigrants, but they refused. He kept trying to give the Mexican money again and again, but the Immigrant kept refusing to take it. The reason that the Mexican didn't take the money is because he just wanted be a good person. He didn't intend to help the hitch hiker to get money. He said to the hitch hiker " Today you... tomorrow me. "He cannot speak English well, so this is impressive. It means I helped you today and someone will help me someday when I have a problem. I really enjoy this saying, because it is easy to say and understand. I think it has a very good meaning. Because of this story, I decided to help people who are in trouble because I experienced the act of being helped myself. The hitch hiker also said that he would be more helpful in the future because of the immigrant, so I think I feel the same way that he feels. I hope that many people will become better thanks to this story.

Why is learning English difficult for me?

I think English is the most important language in the world. Actually, it is an international language, so we can see a lot of English billboards, advertisements, and phrases everywhere when we are outside and inside. Although it is difficult to learn it, English is really familiar for us . There are three reasons why I think learning English is so hard. Japanese and English are different grammar. It means Japanese sentence structure is very different from English. For instance, when I say “ He is a student. “ in Japanese, it will be “ He a student is. “ The order is not same as English. Therefore I am very confused when I speak English because a complete structure in Japanese exists in my brain. Pronunciation is also very difficult. I think many people who learn English have same ideas as me. For Japanese, it is so hard to pronounce “ th ” and “ r ” sounds because we do not have these sounds in Japanese. Even if I learn how to write a paragraph and read English books so hard, I will be not able to speak English fluently I need to practice and improve my speaking skills for communicating with foreign people. I think many people experienced the situation that native speakers talk to us, but we don’t understand because they have accents and speak English very fast. In addition, English has words which are same pronunciation, but they have different meanings. Sometimes this will become a problem because of misunderstanding. So I have to speak English with exact pronunciation. Learning English is a part of compulsory education in Japan. Almost all of the Japanese students start to learn English in junior high school. Many students learn English from Japanese teacher during compulsory education, so they cannot hear real English. I think the best way to learn English is talking with native speakers. This is because that we can hear real English and communicate by using English. In conclusion, Japanese people feel learning English is difficult because of grammar, pronunciation, and Japanese education. However the more I learn English, the more interesting to talk in English.
